Vicki Spearing

A passionate advocate for the environment, Vicki founded Bellbird Developments in 2019 to challenge traditional models of property development and to inspire people to build more energy efficient homes.

A strong believer in doing business for good, Vicki was the first property developer in New Zealand to offer financial incentives to people to build high performing, low carbon emitting homes. She is passionate about developers creating connected thriving communities not just building streets.

Currently one of NZ Sotheby’s International Realty’s top agents Vicki has been involved in the local real estate industry for over 20 years. She recently joined the board of the Passive House Institute of New Zealand.  Vicki has a broad picture perspective and believes change can be driven from grass roots level. As a mother of two she is concerned with challenges future generations are being burdened with. She thinks the built environment offers existing solutions to climate, health, financial and environmental crises.
